EU @ School: Ideas for (digital) teaching content on the European Union (in German)
In cooperation with the Hessian Teachers' Academy and the Arbeitskreis Europäische Union e.V., EU@School is organizing a training on the topic of "Ideas for (digital) teaching content on the European Union" on September 23, 2021 from 9:00-16:30.
In addition to an introduction to the European Union, participants will receive input on the topics of right-wing populism in the European Union, implementation of a simulation game on the EU, and organizational and financial support options for visits to EU institutions.

"European Green Deal: Ideen für (digitale) Unterrichtsinhalte zur Klimapolitik der Europäischen Union"
We are happy to announce that our first training for teachers has been scheduled.
The training "European Green Deal: Ideen für (digitale) Unterrichtsinhalte zur Klimapolitik der Europäischen Union" ("European Green Deal: Ideas for (digital) teaching content on the climate policy of the European Union") will take place on 31 March 2021, 9.00 - 17.00 in a digital format.

"Als Präsidentin der Europäischen Kommission hat Ursula von der Leyen das Ziel ausgegeben, Europa solle der erste klimaneutrale Kontinent weltweit werden. Doch was verbirgt sich dahinter? Was verfolgt die Europäische Union für klimapolitische Ziele? Was kann die EU in dem Bereich überhaupt machen? Und welche Mitwirkungsmöglichkeiten haben Bürger*innen?
In dieser Weiterbildung erhalten Lehrer*innen am Beispiel des European Green Deal Ideen für (digitale) Unterrichtsinhalte zu folgenden Themen:
- Grundlagen zum politischen System der EU,
- Klimapolitik in der EU – Grenzen und Möglichkeiten,
- Mitwirkungsmöglichkeiten von Bürger*innen in der EU.
Die Veranstaltung wird vom Jean Monnet Center of Excellence „EU @ School“ der Technischen Universität Darmstadt in Kooperation mit den Scientists for Future Darmstadt durchgeführt."
